Construction Education NAWIC Women

The NAWIC Education Foundation (NEF) was established in 1973 by the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC).  NEF is an IRS 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization, which means all donations are deductible as a charitable donation. The Board of Trustees governs the Foundation.

Since its inception, NEF has focused on construction education and offers a number of certification programs in partnership with Clemson University.   NEF is proud to be named a Quality Education Provider by the American Council for Construction Education (ACCE).

In addition, the Foundation has developed several programs and competitions created to foster and promote construction as a viable career choice among students from grade school to high school level.

The NEF Executive Office is located in Clemson, SC where the Foundation has a partnership with Clemson University's Center for the Improvement of Construction Management and Processes.
